Fortin Trio Update: 33 Weeks

I am so incredibly grateful to have made it another week. Thank you Jesus!! He gives me all the strength, endurance, and patience to get through each day! We have a tentative c-section date!!! YEAY!!! In just 8 days my precious Charlize, Sawyer, and Jax will make their debut into this world. Our tentative c-section date is Monday, August 17th–that is if they don’t come before then!! My heart is bursting with LOVE!

My little troopers are champions!! They are doing really well and ROCKING it in the weight department. Last Tuesday, their weights were:

Charlize: 4lbs10oz

Sawyer: 4lbs11oz

Jax: 4lbs11oz

Wow wow wow!!! GOD is so good!!! It looks like we may have some 5 pounders on our hands. My cervix is also holding up at a 1.4, which is fabulous. My fluids are okay and probably the bigger concern as to if we can make it to the 17th, so we’ll see. My NST’s have gone well. I hate going to them, but know how important they are at this point in my pregnancy!!! My body is tired and there is a lot of pressure and discomfort, but we are pressing on!!

Miracle Facts about my Pregnancy

1.  God gave me triplets.

2. I didn’t have one single day of morning sickness!!! Not one!!! I fall into the 1% category of triplet pregnancies with no      morning sickness. Thank you Jesus!!!

3. I haven’t had any back pain. Another total Jesus thing!! Considering the amount of weight I am carrying all in my belly I am incredibly blessed that my back has been just fine.

4. God gave me an amazing Doctor full of wisdom. I am so thankful she advised me to have a cerclage. I believe it saved my pregnancy.

5. I have made it to 33 weeks with 6 weeks of bed rest AT HOME!!!

6. From the beginning God has given some growing little ones. They have always had such good weights. I am going to have triplets that weigh 5+ pounds!! WOW!!!!

I was so blessed by this beautiful lady, who came to visit me.  Michelle is such a love and it was so nice to see her. We shared in laughter and honest conversation. She has a beautiful heart and I was so blessed by her company!!!

I have the best Mom in the world. She has truly been there for us in more ways than I could have ever imagined. She takes the most incredible care of me and I am so fortunate for all the care she has provided for me during this time. I have been teaching Mom about “Rest time.” She is a goer and has a hard time just sitting, so I have been teaching her to rest. I love her so much!!  I am so excited for Mom to be a Grandma. She is going to be amazing. Such special memories ahead.

I was so blessed by the Carter girls who stopped by and surprised me with fro yo!!!! It was so thoughtful and, of course, so so delectable. I love this adorable family and it brought my heart so much joy to visit together!!! Ava even gave me a foot massage!!!

My Mother-in-Law came by and we share in an afternoon together. She brought me yogurtland, which was of course so so yummy!!! Jean is so wonderful and she is such a good Nana. It is exciting to add three more grandkids to Ryan’s side of the family!!!

Ryan and I are so excited as we are on the tail end of my pregnancy. We cannot wait to experience our first moments meeting our little loves. My heart is so full knowing that something I have been dreaming about for the past few years is just days away.  My precious babies are already so loved and prayed for by so many. We are incredibly touched by the outpour of love and support we have received. Thank you for being there for us and for your love and prayers!! Here’s to another 8 days!!!

  1. May God continue to bless you and your little ones. I love keeping up with your progress. Good luck, can’t wait to see the babies. I will continue praying for another week the babies stay inside😊

  2. I love seeing you’ve made it to 33 weeks! Your triplets are already measuring more than my twins did at birth at 34 weeks+3days. Mine came in at 4.6 and 4.10. It’s such a blessing hearing another multiple momma has made it far and has healthy weights for her babies. Praying your csection goes well and your little ones are born healthy.

  3. Hi Desiree!
How exciting for you! Not too long now! I work at a hospital and we just had twins born. Two little boys, 5lbs 2oz and 4lbs 11oz and they are so perfect. Your little babies are going to look great and do so well. Can’t wait to hear the wonderful news! So glad that you are feeling great!

  4. I’ve been keeping g up with you and your little onea! I think about you all and I’ve been praying that they’re delivery goes smoothly for all involved! Love from Chelsey and Colin!

    P.s Colin’s my 4 monthe old baby boy 🙂

  5. You have done an amazing job carrying your little trio! I carried my triplets to 32 weeks & 5 days (every single day counts!). I spent 3 months in the hospital on bedrest.
They are now 11 years old & I can still say it was worth every sacrifice! Be proud of yourself & enjoy every minute with your babies once they arrive!

  6. Hi Destiny!
Just wanted to say that I have been praying for you since your reveal. I am so happy that you have made it! God has given you an incredible miracle! You are already such an incredible mommy! You are being covered in prayer on Monday! God is holding you and your sweet babies!
    In Christ,
    Bethany
