Fortin Trio Update: 26 weeks

Ryan had his first Father’s Day. I know our babies aren’t quite here yet, but I had to celebrate my precious Ryan because he is a Dad. The love he has for our precious littles is endless. My heart bursts just thinking about him holding them in his arms for the first time. Melt me!!

The babies are all doing well. I absolutely LOVE hearing their precious little heartbeats and feeling them move. We have some active little ones on our hands. It is funny when I wake up in the middle of the night and they are having their own little womb party!

As you may have read from my previous blog: Bed Rest Bound I am officially on bed rest. I am allowed to get up here and there, but no more outings for this Mama.  It is a bit difficult because we are not quite moved into my parents house yet, but we are getting there and should be all moved in by the end of the weekend.  I am becoming a good delegator!!   I am so appreciative of the many friends and family who have been there for us through this move. We have another dream team of friends coming this weekend to help finish off the move!!

What bed rest looks like on me: Lots of pillow!!!

Fun Facts:

1. Ryan helped me shave me legs…yes, it has come to this!

2. Sometimes my boys like to take up all of the room on one side of my belly.

3. I wish I could sleep with a catheter.

4. 9 weeks to go until we meet our goal of 35 weeks! Goal date: August 23.

5. Sometimes I get out of breath when I talk.

Finally, I wanted to thank you all for your LOVE and endless PRAYERS for our precious Charlize, Sawyer, and Jax, and for Ry and I, as well. You have no idea how much it means and it is truly beauty to see all of God’s people come together. It touches our hearts more than you know. Thank you for being there for us every step of our story of hope. Our darling trio is already so incredibly loved!!!

  1. HI, I love reading your weekly updates! Praying for you and your little family too!
I have a suggestion to combat the boredom that may set it during the bed rest time – Adult coloring books! They have some really cool coloring pages/ books at Micheal’s and Hobby Lobby with all kinds of pages to color – like abstract images, flowers, patterns, etc. It’s very theraputic and relaxing and fun! I’ve used sharpie markers (with a blotter behind the page) and colored pencils to color with.
